  • Training Nose Work and Urban Tracking

    • Throughout the last year, completed Trainer Lisa Pattison's Professional Course Work for training nose work (https://www.caninepartnership.com).
    • The aim is to train on finding scent targets during  walks which creates an enjoyable experience for your dog, turning it into a game rather than a chore. Nose work can greatly enhance your dog's problem-solving abilities, focus, and obedience training, making it a fun and rewarding experience for both of you.
    • Nose work is a fantastic cognitive exercise for dogs and can indeed be treated as a sport. It leverages their natural scenting abilities, provides them with mental stimulation, and can enhance overall training. It's particularly useful for dogs in urban environments like Manhattan, where physical exercise space can be limited.
